South African Afro-soul singer Nomfusi has announced that she will open for Lionel Richie on 15 July 2015 at the internationally-acclaimed Lörrach Stimmen Festival in Germany.
The Lörrach Stimmen Festival will present top stars from Europe and other parts of the world, covering pop, rock, classical and jazz, and drawing thousands of music lovers from 2 to 26 July 2015.
Split across two cities and two countries (Basel, Switzerland and Lörrach, Germany), the Stimmen Festival is considered to be a beacon of multiculturalism. Other top acts on the line up this year include Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, Sinead O’Connor, Sophie Hunger, Status Quo and The Hooters.

The new album will be released in South Africa in July 2015 and an international release is scheduled for later this year.
Since launching her career in 2009 with a debut album titled Kwazibani, Nomfusi has performed in more than 15 countries sharing stages with icons such as Angelique Kidjo, Bebe Wynans and Hugh Masekela.
