Collaboration by SA and Nigerian artists hits the global scene

“All Eyes On Me”, a collaboration by South African rapper AKA and Nigerian singer Burna Boy, is making waves on the global music scene. The hip-hop track, which also features South African rappers Da L.E.S and JR, was recently play-listed on BBC 1Xtra after spending more than 8 weeks at No. 1 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Chart for South Africa.

BBC Radio 1Xtra is a digital radio station that broadcasts from the United Kingdom to millions of people across the globe.  The playlisting comes after AKA’s 2014 nomination by BBC’s DJ Edu as one of  the top 5 African artists to break into the UK  industry in 2015.
